What is wrong when I cannot enter a value into a field in a form

I have set up tables and forms. I am trying my database out and I am finding
that I cannot enter values into certain fields in my forms. All these fields
are from one of my tables. The rest of the fields from the other tables are
fine and I can enter values in them. For example, I can place the cursur in
the field but when I go to type something it doesn't show up in the field.

Please help, I dont want to re-do all the work I have done.

Slightly confused by your set up. Does each form have fields *only* from an
individual table?
 
Is there one form where you can not enter data in any of the fields or is
there a particular form where you can enter data into some fields but not
other fields?

Does the form's record source include the table into which you cannot enter
data? How many tables are you talking about here? How are the tables
related?
