Hotfixes are patches and updates that are released between
Service Pack releases, and then are included (at least most of
the time) in the next Service Pack.
Microsoft does this because sometimes they find a bug that's
so critical, they cannot wait for the next scheduled Service
Pack to release a fix. That's why they're called "hot" fixes.
