I use Outlook 2003. I have noticed that when I open it to check for mail it
will send an e-mail. I can not see what the e-mail is nor can I see where it
is sent. It does not do it all the time but it bothers me that it is sending
this e-mail that I know nothing about and do not know how to determine what
it is. I can tell Outlook to cancel and it will but then the new mail dose
not get in. What do I do to figure this out?

it's usually a read receipt. it's a hidden message so you won;t be able to
see it in the outbox.
