What is this file? included this time

An error message appears listing this file. I have no
idea what this is , nor can I find it anywhere on my
computer. Please translate.

\appcompat.twt

The "WER" part changes numbers each time themessage
appears.

You can't find it because it is hidden. Go to Control
Panel and select Folder Options. Select the View Tab.
Look for the Hidden Files and Folders section and select
show hidden files and folders. These are hidden for a
reason so be careful. You may want to let us know what
you are doing when this error happens before doing
anything. It is a temp file and should be safe to
deleate, but try to figure out why the system is trying
to access this file.
