What is this button for??

Mikey the Quick

New "button" on my desktop, I guess it's a button, even though I can't
click or right-click on it, can't move it, can't do ANYTHING with it,
it just sits there.

Tiny little thing, about half the size of my icons, a gray box that
says "Server Prot..." inside of it.

What the heck is this, and should I be worried??
