I have been trying to install a Broadcom Wi-fi network card on my
PC....running windows XP HOME SP2
When it comes to the driver installation, it suddenly stops, and says:
AN ERROR OCCURED DURING INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE. THE STYLE OF THE
INF IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS REQUESTED.
Please help!!!..what do I need to do?
Thanks in advance,

Note: I had the right drivers before eventhough, i cannot roll back to
my previous driver and i receive this error message...

My guess is something has gone bad in the card so the driver will no longer
install.
Try another card.
Try this card in another computer.

Nope, the driver which is tried to be installed, was working fine
before. But i updated it with the Turkish version and i want to roll
back to its original English Version. Version releases are the same
3.1.46.0.

The card is built-in so i cannot try another wi-fi card on the
Notebook?

I searched the groups and many people had this difficulty. What does
it really indicate?

Thank you.
