What is the print switch to print Outlook faxes of type fxo?

I am using Outlook 2000 with the Symantec Fax Starter Edition to send and
receive faxes. Setup does not associate a Print action with file type FXO
(only an Open action is created). Is there a switch that can be added to
Quikview.exe in order to define a new print action for the FXO file type? The
usual /p does not seem to work.

Thank you for your thoughts and assistance.

I am using Windows 98 SE. Quikview.exe is the Symantec fax viewer Outlook
installed to view fax files in Outlook, and is the file association for
opening FXO files.

I hope this answered your questions, and thank you for your assistance.

It's been years since I've seen WinFax SE (thankfully), but it never
required a print command for FXO files.
What symptoms are you experiencing?

If I right click on a received fax item (the fax document is an attachment to
the fax item) in Outlook 2000 and click Print, I receive the following
message: "Unable to print the attachment "filename.FXO". The file,
'c:\path\filename.FXO', does not have a program associated with it for this
action. To create an association, ... and then click File Types."

Opening the fax item and clicking Print on the Outlook File menu with "Print
all linked documents" checked prints what looks like a Symantec webpage.

However, if I open the attachment (which opens in Quikview.exe) and click
Print on the Quikview.exe File menu (or press CTRL+P), the attachment (the
received fax document) prints without a problem.

Is there a way to setup a Print action for FXO files so that I can print
using the first method?

P.S. When I installed faxing in Outlook 2000, there was not a fax program on
my computer. I am not a big fan of Winfax either, particularly not the later
versions. If you know, did the Winfax SE come with Outlook 2000 or with
Windows 98 SE?

The only way to print FXO files is to open them in Quickview, then use its
Print command.
WinFax SE was provided with IMO modes of Outlook 98 (version 1.0) and
Outlook 2000 (version 2.0). It never worked very well and was never
supported. What little information there is about it resides here:
