What is the ATI Device Detection ICON in the System Tray? Question answered here.

Thank you for contacting ATI Customer Care Canada.

Regarding your ATI Detector Utility (atidtct.exe) issue:

This utility was meant for future use of the TV WONDER™ USB 2.0 which
announced on Thursday April 29, 2004 and does not impact your PC in
any way. If you wish, you may disable this feature by performing the
steps below.


1. Click on "START"

2. "Run..."

3. Type in "MSCONFIG" then press "OK".

4. Select the Start-up tab.

5. Uncheck the atidtct option.

6. Click OK and restart once prompted.

This options will no longer activate upon reboot.
