what is that key for overriding auto login?

In xp I have enabled it to auto login without pressing the icon on the
welcome screen.. but I can remember there was a key combination
that you could override the auto login and get the welcome screen options..

what is it?

Hold down the Shift key while your computer is booting into
Windows.
