What is SCVHOST.EXE?

And why is it suddenly trying to hog up 99-100% of my
processor time? I have no clue where this thing came from
but it's here now or at least active trying to do god-
knows-what. I changed it's processing priority to LOW
and actually am able to do things. This happend a couple
of days ago at the same time my wife's half of the PC
refused to log onto the web. Tries to redirect to
someplace called www.incredifind.com...big long sting to
a dead end.

For your sake, Jack, I hope you never ask a question here and get such a
stupid answer.
 
Google will tell you what SVChost is but it is a service
needed for Windows likely you are having difficulty with
it because of a virus you should update your virus scanner
and san for viruses
 
It's a trojan horse. You are infected. See:

There is a legitimate windows system file called Svchost.exe. This is
necessary for XP to work..but Scvhost.exe is from a virus as others have
said.
