What is Network Management in IP Routing Table?

When I open the RRAS MMC, select Static Routes, right-click and choose
'Show IP Routing Table...', I see the following portion:

Dest | Mask | Gateway | Interface | M | Prot
=================================================================
0.0.0.0 | 0.0.0.0 | 10.100.100.2 | 10.100.100.253 | 1| Local
0.0.0.0 | 0.0.0.0 | 10.100.100.2 | 10.100.100.253 |100| Network man

What does 'Network management' mean in the protocol column, and how can
I get rid of it?

This route was given to you most likely by the DHCP server. Network
Management refers to the fact that the Network Manager is responsible for
the route. If you were to use the route.exe utility to create a static
route, this too would be a Network Managed route. A route learned via a
routing protocol would signify the actual protocol it was learned from (
OSPF / RIP ). If you add a static route via RRAS, then the route is marked
as static.
