Is there a location where I can see the model number of my computer? Thanks
in advance!

Is it a major OEM PC ? ( Dell, Gateway, HP...) ? If so it should have a
label on the back/bottom that has a unique identifier. Dell refers to it as
the Service Tag or Express Service Tag. With this number you can go
to the vendor's website and get a full description of the PC as it was sent
from the factory.

Otherwise you can use a Hardware/Software inventory tool such as
Belarc Advisor to find out information on your PC.

It'll be clearly printed on the identity label the manufacturer has
affixed to the computer case.

Where have you actually LOOKED so far?

Backside.
Underside.
Inside.
And sometimes the frontside.

You could also look at the sales receipt.
