Trying to start Outlook for the 1st time. It says in one box
"Configuring Outlook accounts

Creating Welcome Message"

Then another box wants me to enter some info:

What is microsoft exchange server?
What is mailbox?

Then it checks name.
Then I get a message stating "The name could not be resolved. The connection
to microsoft exchange server is unavailable. Otlook must be connected or
online to complete this action"

*I currently have Outlook Express working with no problems

Microsoft Exchange is a mail server that is used normally in a business
environment. You likely want to set up a POP3 account?

You don't use an Exchange Server, you most like use a POP3 (Internet) mail
server

When I click on the Outlook to icon to start the program I get the messages
that I typed, there is no way to get around them. Unless you hit cancel, then
the program quits.

Any ideas?

And yes ,I do use a POP3

You have to *first* configure your account *before* you open Outlook
(Control Panel | Mail). Check your ISP's mail setup instructions.
