what is microsaoft .NET Framework?

I have a screen pop up every time I run windows, it is saying it is an
unhandled exception in a component in my application. I don't understand what
any of it means and would really like some help to fix it, please someone
help me out=(
 
To get help with an error message you need to quote the message in full
and describe as specifically as you can the circumstances under which
you get the message.

Whenever you ask a question in a Windows XP newsgroup please include
your full version of Windows including service pack.
