Looking at the TaskManager, I see a Process called MediaGateway as being
loaded with a mem usage of 5,588K.

Searching Windows Explorer results in no program with that name being found.

can someone tell me what it is, do I need it, and if not, how do I find it
to get rid of it.

Not positive, but since I typically don't see MediaGateway BEFORE I
install my DSL modem, and it's there right after, I believe
MediaGatewey is one of your DSL drivers.

My attitude is that, if it's not botherin me, if it's "invisible", and
all my scanning and virus protection and adware stuff doesn't find it,
it's not malware.
