crap out of my puter.....thanks to the group for guiding
me to those utilities by the way......still this thing
comes up sometimes

Yeah it's a project alright! .........

ehttp.cc = CWS.Addclass (coolwebsearch trojan)
http://www.merijn.org/cwschronicles.html#addclass

You are jumping to conclusions. The OP said nothing about CWS.addclass or
AddClass.exe (referenced on the link you provided). Look at the title of this
thread... I think I answered what was asked.

There must be more than one way of getting this onto one's computer, because
there is nothing in either of the links on ehttp.cc that would install an EXE
file. In fact, it is impossible for a reg-script to install *any* file! By
definition, they only write to the Registry.

I'm sure that AdAware and/or Spybot S&D will soon enough include
detection/removal of AddClass.exe (if they do not already). In the meantime,
it can be done manually by logging in under a different user profile (with
admin privs) and deleting the file from within Windows Explorer.
