People who got vista on non new machines... are 100% dissatisfied...

I would add the stories here of the people.. but they are too long.. guys
its a massacre out there!

Others formatted their vista machines and installed XP

Others have free upgrades for vista but WILL NEVER use them! You should hear
what people are saying about vista on
forums... lol

Heck even people who are given vista as a free upgrade wont go anywhere near
it! Heck! Can vista be a virus?

Dell is bringing XP back to their products although MS is pressuring
everyone to sell only vista from now on...
why? Because people want XP! They are hearing all the mouth to mouth
information about how vista really sucks.

This is worse than the windows Me fiasco!

Others have vista and are stuck with it.. and are having a huge number of
problems.... lots of these are not "driver or software or hardware" related
as some stupid MVPs keep boasting.....
Sorry guys these are 100% pure vista problems!

I don't think a service pack 1 will fix anything... vista was badly designed
from conception to the freakily end when they pushed it out
at least 6 months before they should have....a service pack can fix bugs...
but it wont fix the GUI nor will it fix the underlying structure!
That would need a total re-write! A rewrite that we don't know that MS will
ever be able to do with the next version of windows, Avalon,
because of all the damage they will get from Vista.

And then you have some stupid people in here saying "vista works fine for
me"....

Open your eyes my vistafan smuck and see whats happening in the REAL world!

And what can we do to fix all this problems?.... Since no one else seems to
care, only deny the facts that are smack in their face,
its up to me to help save the world once again....sighhhhhh.....

Let me get into the phonebooth and change..... I have a cape with a new
shiny V sewn on to it.

What exactly is it that you're hoping to achieve by posting such rants?
Why are you here? This after all is a Windows Vista help group.
I guess you didn't know that did you?
You don't have Vista installed do you? You've never used it have you?
No lies now ok?

You are quite incorrect. Data to support?
I'm satisfied.

Untrue.
I've got two machines I'm happy with and I'm not alone.

Why are you here?

Why are YOU here Frank? I don't recall you ever helping anybody, never
posting any solutions or work arounds, just the same tired Vista is
wonderful cheer you love to shout. If you're expecting Billy G to
phone you with his thanks or some such similar acknowledgement of your
"support" you're sadly mistaken. In other words, GROW UP!
This after all is a Windows Vista help group.

Kindly supply us with ANY thread where you have helped anybody with
anything. I'll wait.

I have a computer and a laptop that I installed Vista on and I am happy with
both. My wife has a laptop that I installed Vista on and she loves it. My
son installed Vista on his laptop and he enjoys it very much.

Seems that your "100%" has some holes in it.

There also seems to be a growing number giving up on MS completely and
going to Linux.

A growing number? That's 2 yesterday and three today for gods sake.

So let me see if I have this correct. The people who CAN get Vista to
work right are the "stupid people".....

BTW, Vista works fine for me. That doesn't mean it works fine for
everyone of course, but why would I not say it works fine if it
does???

you remind me of someone starting at a broken TV with static..
and saying.. HEY I can see images in the static if I squint my eyes enough
and use my imagination!

It even has a remote control.. I only have to walk up to the dial to change
the channel!

Sorry for my irony.. but you are just lucky and the use you make of vista is
not such so it
will reveal its true nature.

need to try an beam your little brain out of your arse and into your head.

So let me see if I have this correct. The people who CAN get Vista to
work right are the "stupid people".....

No, people that got Vista to work and pretend those that haven't
because Vista is suppose to be perfect and nobody should have problems
unless they're a dummy are the actual "stupid people" for being so
ignorant to have that simplistic a view and going out of their way to
make fun of people having real issues. Not very adult.

Vista like ALL operating systems is a complex piece of software that
must interact with both hardware and software. Considering the huge
variety of possible combinations that run under the Windows platform
it isn't surprising that sometimes some people will have real issues
that others do not.

What pops my cork is the often lack of compassion and caring for
fellow users and the smug I know better than you attitude so often
displayed in groups like this.

There's better manners and respect for others in a typical fourth
grade class... even with no teacher present. In other words this group
has a lot of twenty, thirty and forty something ten year olds, many
that are MVPs.

I got Vista on my new machine. I'm very satisfied -- it works great, as
does all my software and hardware.

Since your wrong from the get go, I see no reason to read anything else in
your post.

I haven't seen such people. All I see are people complaining about
anyone who isn't having trouble who says they aren't having trouble.

Wow, no kidding!!

Haven't seen it. The only attitude that's apparent is that of you and
those like you who can't seem to stand the fact that some people
aren't having trouble.

Hmm, you are an odd one to talk about manners.

What Gigabyte motherboard are you using.
