What is going on here?

Somehow I have managed to change most of the icons in the All Programs
section of the Start Menu to the same icon. For example, Microsoft Office no
longer has the standard blue "W" icon we are all familiar with anymore. It
now has a folder type icon. All the icons that were changed have this same
icon. How do I remove this setting and restore the correct icons?
 
Doy you have any clue how you managed to do this? Maybe if you change the
theme and change it back it will reset the icon cache.
 
Im am NOT an expert, only to the extreme that if it could go wrong I did it.
I am not sure where you changed the icon picture, but try looking in Icons
Properties ( i found this by Search "Icons") then left click on the icon,
properties, Customize, well it is full of places to change icons and folders.
You may have changed in folder options but i would try icons first. good
