What is ControlSet002 in the Registry

I have in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
It appears that ControlSet002 and CurrentControlSet may contain the same
data.
The other two do not.

What are they for?
Are the other two needed?

It didn't mention ControlSet003, I wonder how many users have that.

Should have looked at Select before I replied.
1 is Failed and 3 is LastKnowGood
