What is a TECH SKU?

NewEgg.com and others are selling Vista. NewEgg has two Ultimate Upgrade
versions---#1 is N82E16832116755 MS Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade TECH SKU
for $327.99. The other is #2- N82E16832116236 MS Vista Ultimate Upgrade (no
TECH SKU) for $249.99. This means that the "TECH SKU" version costs $78.00
more. I can not find out from NewEgg what the "TECH SKU" means---they tell me
they don't provide support and to call Microsoft, however they sell the
product. Can anyone please shed some light on what the "TECH SKU" means? The
office programs that NewEgg sells also have a "TECH SKU" version. I will
probably wait 6 months-1 year before even thinking about Vista, but in the
event I decide to buy it now, I need to know what NewEgg is selling---since
they do not.
