Can I uninstall Vista and go back to XP, with everything in tact.

The only way I could do this would be to use the system restore disk, and
start again from scratch. Because XP was already installed on my System when
it was purchased.

You can't uninstall Vista if you upgrade from XP, clean install only.
Who is the Windows Vista BETA 2 for?

IT Professionals, Developers, Enthusiast, people who like to back up their
data and try out new things and don't have issues just in case something
goes wrong installing the software.
