And, let me assure you, Jammer, that Microsofties at Redmond really love you,
too... they are so happy when someone shows up with sufficiently low IQ that
they are satisfied, or more than satisfied, with glitz and glitter. It is
_SO_ much easier to program new appearance, with lots of glitz and glitter
and smooth and shiny, than it is for them to program features that allow
their users to actually solve the business problems those users face every
day.
They may be rolling on the floor laughing over anyone being that dumb, but
they _DO_ love ya, Jammer. They love ya to death. After all, when they just
couldn't solve the real operating system problems in Vista development, what
did they, what were they, able to accomplish. Vista Aero, of course was what
was left... they would rather have given up their sex organs than given up
the glitz and glitter of Aero!
Hey, they ought to give you a reward of some kind. Ask for one, preferrably
some beta test code of the next Windows user interface. But don't expect
consistency. Even if they are (mostly) gamers, by the time the next Windows
comes out!
