What happens with OST files (Favorites Folder) if Exhange Server is substituted

Dear group

If you have an OST file with selected public folders added to the Favorites
folder - what happens if the Exchange Server holding the public folders in
question is substituted with an new server (same version). The hierarchy of
the public folders is not changed.

Will the user still be able to use the OST fil - or ?

(I guess the question is - how does the OST file identify the folders)

Best Regards

Jesper

Depends on how you are migrating. If you stay in the same Exchange
organization the ost-files shouldn't become orphaned.
