What happens to my shared calendar after I remove it?

I'm in charge of a shared calendar right now, but I'm leaving the office
soon. Will my shared calendar cease to exist once my company closes my
account? Or can I pass on control/ownership to someone else?
 
It depends on where that shared calendar is stored. If that is within your
own personal mailbox, then it is removed at the point they delete your
account.
If it is in a Public Folder or in a separate mailbox specifically created
for this purpose, the you could reassign Outlook permissions as per;

In either case, it might be good to inform your IT Support department and/or
manager about the existence of this shared Calendar so that they can take
appropriate action and assign a new responsible person for it in their
systems as well.
