What h/d for A7N8X

Rebuilding a system w/this mobo and AMD Barton 2500 and Kingston HyperX
ram. I need a harddrive with 20-30-40 gig, as we don't use that much space.
The best source I've found for h/d's this small is on eBay; if I buy one
there, it will be a retail version, new, with factory warranty.. Haven't
bo't one in over a year. What is a good suggestion for such a size drive?

PS: Should someone know of a "special" thru like Best Buy, OfficeMax,
Staples, with a LARGER capacity, I don't mind. Just don't wish to PAY for
purely unused capacity!

most HD manufacturers only carry 1 yr warranty on the smaller drives
now...check your local retailer before Best Buy...most of their deals just
match the OEM version cost

Western Digital 40gig 7200 for $19.99 after rebates.
Is that cheap enough?

Word of caution:

Small Drives = SLOW
Large Drives with 8MB Cache = FAST

Even though you may not "need" all that space, you'll really appreciate the
speed improvements which is due to the fact that the data in packed on the
platters more tightly, and thus comes off quicker at the same rotational
speed. The smallest drive I'd suggest is 80GB.
