What filename retains the contacts information?

I fried out one motherboard (embarrassing story), but I am capable of
transferring files from that PC's salvaged HD's to another, brand new, PC via
IDE or IDE adapter to USB.
Fresh install of MS Office 2007 on new PC - now wanting to 'import' the
contacts, calendar, and emails from Office 2007 of the salvaged HD.

What are the folders and filenames of said components to MS Office 2007?
I'm assuming I can just overwrite them. - I've done that with Office 2003.

The *.pst files, which are hidden files, and you may have to 'take
ownership' - see win help -
You dont Import, niether do you overwrite any existing pst, nor do you need
to locate your copied pst in the outlook default location, indeed if using
Vista this can cause other file protection problems.
In broad terms, locate the old pst's copy to Documents folder, start
Outlook, File>Open>Data File....browse to the location & file.

I tried "File-Open-Outlook Data File", but nothing was added to my Calendar,
Inbox, or Contacts. (Although the Data file was over 444,000 KB --- should
have had significant amount of data/realistic size considering my 'Deleted
Items' folder)

Then, the Help link you suggested would not load in my browser.

Thanx for the suggestion, though.

So what browser are you using - works fine here in IE or Firefox.

When you open the data file nothing will be added to your origonal data
file.
You will have another set of Personal Folders open within OL - See the
Folders Tree View
Copy data from this file to your origonal as required - you can leave this
set of Personal Folders open within OL, you dont 'have to' copy everything,
nor do you 'have to' close it.

PS If you have stored msgs in your Deleted Folder this is a v.bad practice.
Use the Archive options of OL.
An archive is just another set of Personal Folders that can be opened, and
remain open, within OL
