What DVD format works with Norton Ghost 2003?

For safety, I'm thinking about backing up my system
drive(c:) using Norton Ghost 2003. I've tried DVD-RW disk,
but somehow my computer wouldn't boot from the DVD that I
made. Do you happen to know what DVD format Norton Ghost
supports and also be bootable?
 
Try to look at the bios but sequences Is the dvd drive set as a bootable?
