what does "system resource exceeded" mean?

Without any other error messages, an Access version number, and an
explanation of what you were doing and how you were going about it, it is
impossible to say anything more than that you have exceeded your system
resources, probably video, but who can tell.

i think there is more chance that is the ram that is filled up, try
increasing your page file and check if message still there

I think that is extremely unlikely, as the Windows Virtual Memory
Manager has been very good at swapping to disk since at least
Windows 3.11 (Windows for Workgroups 3.1 was the one that introduced
the 32-bit disk access and the new VMM). It is almost never the case
that actual memory is the issue. It's more likely some resource
stack that has been exceeded (though not the same ones that were
problems with Win3.x and the Win9x kernel, as those are not operable
in NT-based Windows).

It means that some program you're running exceeded system resources.

If you're running Microsoft Access, the subject of this newsgroup, please post
some details.

If you're getting the message from Windows or from some other program, please
post in a newsgroup for that program - scroll down the list of subject areas.
Use the big textbox, not just the subject line, to post descriptions of what
triggers the error, what version of Windows you're using, etc.
