What DOes INVALID CLSID mean?

Do you know what an invalid CLSID is? I am on XP home,windows and the BUg doctor say
I have this.....Later ran a scan repair but the bugdoctor now says I still have it..Plus
have 118 Missing Shortcuts...Should I fix That? Paula in Stockton
 
The CLSID is in the registry somewhere. You will need more info to determine
which one is invalid - there are hundreds of them.
