What do you use to let users update information in AD ?

I have a high number of mobile users and thus very often information in AD
(building, office location, group membership) are out of date.
I am wondering what you do to let users update innformation in AD ? Does an
intranet webform where users could input information from the client side
and submit it should be a good idea ?
