What dll files are included with XP Pro

How do I determine which dll files are included with WinXP
or any flavor of Windows for that matter?

I am supporting an app with embedds the Sax Basic engine
(a vb clone) and I would like to referrence certain dlls
in the scripts and to avoide those that are not certain to
be available with Windows itself.

Just yesterday a user received an error indicating a
missing dll.

The DLLs are those shipped on the Windows XP CD.
Additional DLLs may be added by any application installed post the OS
install.
Certain DLLs may also be replaced or additional ones added through Service
Packs or hotfixes.
The core system DLLs are protected and should not be replaced by third party
applications.

Further questions around this area would best be asked in one of the MSDN or
developer newsgroups.

Mike, thanks for taking the time to write.

Not trying to be a smart-ass but,
(1)I am in a corporate environment and, for obvious
reason, do not have access to the XP CD
(2)unlike the masses of lemmings that surround me, I did
not "upgrade" to XP at home because it was there. 98se
works when I bought it and it works today. I dont have an
XP CD.
(3)I don't want to change anything. I simply want to know
which dll's are available "out of the box"

Doesn't Microsoft provide a simple list of file installed
with any particular OS

thanks
Kevin

Use the link provided in Will Denny's response.
You can get a complete list of all DLLs shipped with various products.

Note :- this is the shipped lists and not necessary what is installed - i.e.
if you do not install certain components then certain DLLs will obviously be
missing e.g IIS etc
