J JoAnn Paules [MVP] Oct 5, 2006 #5 I looked at that font. The hyphen does appear to be a bit shorter than Arial or TNR. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] JoAnn Paules said: What font are you using? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] havester66 said: Working on Word document, and suddenly the hyphen key does not type a hyphen, but instead types dots (not periods). J JoAnn Paules [MVP] Oct 5, 2006 #7 It doesn't appear that there is anything else in that font that is a wee bit longer. There is a dash but it's too long to serve as a hyphen. Glad I could be of some assistance. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] havester66 said: Okay, I went back and changed the font to TNR for just thehyphen and that fixed the problem.
