What? Can't Set up Live.com mail for delivery to Vista Windows Mail?

Got a new Vista PC with Windows Mail . . . . . . I keep setting up the
servers for Live.com (SSL, SPA, ports, etc.) but can't get it to re-route
mail from Live.com to my PC's Windows Mail?

Is this not allowed for some reason? They are both Microsoft aren't they .
.. . . . . . I have one account that my school just forced us to use and
would like that mail sent to my regular email program.

Use the Configuration Settings on this page:
http://mailcall.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!CC9301187A51FE33!49799.entry

NB: Set Outgoing server (SMTP) to Port 587, not Port 25!

NB: Tools | Accounts | Mail | [new Hotmail POP3 account] | Properties |
Servers | Incoming mail server | Log on using Secure Password Authentication
<=Do NOT check/enable this option!!

Windows Mail's new account wizard is hard-coded to reject (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed) addresses. When you enter your email address during setup,
use a dummy one (e.g., (e-mail address removed)). After you've finished, go back
and change the email address to the correct one.
