What cable(s) needed to advance a PPT presentation by remote?

I am a Public Speaker and I present using Power point. Please tell me what
additional cables are required to advance my presentations remotely. i walk
into my audience and it takes time to run to my laptop to advance the
presentation in between slides. I was told to purchase an S-Video cable but
that's not making a difference.

I would recommend a wireless presenter or a mouse with this functionality.
If you search the internet for "wireless presenter" (without the quotation
marks) you will get a lot of hints. I'm quite satisfied with a Kensingtion
Wireless Presenter which is cheap and small.
