well thank you, that was very helpful! fortunately these are appearing in
documents & settings/username folders and not on my desktop so it's not an
annoyance, but was very curious!
Asked and answered dozens of times. Might I suggest you do a search
for what you are looking for, seeing if has already been
asked/answered, prior to asking AGAIN?
