Running IE 6 on WinXP Pro SP1.
In the Security tab of Internet Options (Custom Level), there are two options I have not seen before, and I cannot find any documentation on the MS website.
Under .NET Framework-reliant components:
Run components not signed with Authenticode
Run components signed with Authenticode
The only web reference I could find was a site that recommended that these options be set to "disable" and "prompt", respectively.
What are ".NET Framework-reliant components"?
What happens if you enable these options?
Does "run" mean that the components already reside locally, or does it also imply that you're permitting download/install/run?
Thanks!
