What are iFrames?

I was attempting to save a web page as a word document and pushed the edit
with word button in my browser. And the document I ended up with showed some
borders with text in a tag which read "your browser does not support
iFrames". Can someone explain to me what that means? Thanks.

It's a webpage thingy, specific to Internet Explorer; I've never used them
myself, so only have a vague concept, but see if this article tells you what
you need to know
