We're all having DVD Maker Issues with no answer

I've been watching this group for a long time because like so many of you, I
have the same problem in Windows Vista when using Windows DVD Maker: I get to
about 99% completion and the DVD gets ejected with an "Unspecified error"
basically telling you it's not going to happen. Once in a blue moon, I get
to completion but the DVD can't be read by regular DVD players. I see so
many of you posting this same problem but no one seems to ever get a real
answer...why isn't Microsoft addressing this issue???

Here are some error results from my event viewer log:
The Dvd Maker engine returned an error code (2131110144) when burning the
disc.
The Dvd Maker engine returned an error code (2130932484) when burning the

I have checked that site because alot of threads mention it but when you go
to it, it's mostly for Windows Media Player and doesn't mention Windows DVD
Maker even once.

Thanks again Andre for taking the time to post those links but again, they
really don't have anyting to do with the problem me and a huge majority of
users are having with the burning process getting to about 98% and then
stopping.

I'm not an expert on that area, but those sequence of errors are I believe
device/media errors, as opposed to software problems.

That's probable not helpful - actual product support may be more helpful
here. =\
