Welcome Screen doesn't appear after screen saver

Hi.

Occasionally, when I am logged in and I leave the
computer, the screen saver comes up and all that appears
is the desktop wallpaper.

I have to press ALT-CTRL-DEL which will then bring back
the taskbar, the desktop icons and open the Windows Task
Manager.

In the Applications Tab, it doesn't say that anything is
not responding.

Sometimes I can't even select switch user or press the
Windows Key + L.

Any help would be great.

I would select a different screensaver, and if that
doesnt help, turn off your screen saver, and instead go
into your power scheme and tell your monitor to go into
Standby instead. (saves energy and promotes the lasting-
life of your monitor.)
