WEireless card stopped working

I have a netgear wag511 that stopped working in my compaq armada e500 after
my last windows update.
device manager says no problems.
rj45 connection works fine.
any idea's

Yes first thing.
Also the OS asked me a question about running two wireless systems. One was
a windows version and one was probably netgears. How do I bet rid of the
windows version?
