weird sound from tower

I've been getting this loud beep from my tower sometimes when i'm watching a
movie and i don't know what is causing it. The only thing i can do to shut
it off is to turn off my computer and then restart. Does anybody know what
this might be from or how to fix it?

its your motherboard health monitor beeping because you've exeeded the max
temperature. You need to go into the bios - check the temp - if your chip is
running hot, you need to address that - if not, just increase the warning
limit to something higher.

CAUTION: I would not advice you to turn it off.
