Weird Outlook issue

Good evening,
I ran into something strange today and I'm hoping someone has an easy
solution. We're running Outlook 2000 in an Exchange 2003 environment and on
one of the systems, none of the new messages appear until I click on another
folder in the list or sort the emails differently. I can hit send and
receive and the new messages don't show. I updated with the latest Office
patches today as well as remove and reinstall the Exchange service with no
change. She's not using any filters or custom rules and I'm a little
stumped. It appears to be on this one system only so it should be a
localized issue to the workstation.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

UDP problems, often because of a firewall. See one of the articles at

Thanks Brian for your response.
Would the notification using UDP be more wide spread if there were a
problem? This appears to be happening on just this one workstation. I'll
follow the suggestions anyway and see if there is a registry fix.
Thanks again,
Mark

If that lone workstation is Windows XP SP2, perhaps it has the built-in
firewall enabled.

I think the Firewall is disabled, but I'll doublecheck.
Thanks Brian
