weird error message

I have some pages that use javascript to generate pop-up, informational
browser windows. I know (?) the script is ok because when I publish the
pages and click on a link, a new browser window does indeed open without
problem.

However, when I'm in FP and toggle to the Preview window and click on the
link I get a javascript error-

An error has occured in the script on this page.
Line: 20
Char: 1
Error: Access is denied.
Code: 0
URL: file://C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\PURGE ME\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\QP818N8V\[1].htm

Any ideas?

Yes, it won't work because the preview is not a browser and only previews
'basically' what will be seen in a real browser and I have the same problem when
trying to run client-side scripts like javascript.

Seeing that your viewers will be using their browsers, and as you say it works
ok, then you have nothing to worry about. Always check in your real browser any
functionality using scripts such as that.
