Weeknum Issue

GMc

I have a 2003 .xls file that I run on 2007, there is a formula in the
file that uses the =weeknum(c2) formula. I am getting an issue where
excel is removing this formula and replacing it with =#n/a, which
means I have to go in and add the formula again.

This is not the first time this has happened, I had another completely
independant file where the same thing happened with the weeknum
formula.

A couple of things

1) does anyone know whats going on ?

2) is there any other easy way to extract a workweek from a date
without using this formula.

Thanks

I have the same issue as you do. I have an excel file that is an excel 97/2003 file. Some people open the file in excel 2007. The calculation (formula) sometimes disappears and becomes =#NA. In that cell i just have =weeknum(A1).

Does anyone know why the formula gets replaced? This is reallly a pain because i have to put back the formula
