I have an Fp 03 site hosted by an ISP. Made changes to the index.htm and
uploaded with no errors. Every web browser in our domain can not show changes
to our home page, but outside our domain (off premises) it shows fine.

I thought probably a problem with our browser, but we use mozilla, netcaptor
and IE. Anybody ever run into this? Can anyone please suggest a fix? Problem
started when I went from one ISP to another and had godaddy.com register our
domain.

Thanks.

A stab in the Dark, try to flush the DNS and clear the TIF of these machines
and see if that will help, as my understanding these lazy machines <grin>
still picking up the old cached pages on the HDD.
HTH.
Please let us know.

Maybe it is me being dumb, TIF ? The ipconfig /flushdns I have tried but the
other one I could use some explaining.

Sorry I thought as you may be the Admin you will know TIF ( Temporary
Internet File ) , if you clear this and Cookies ( you can be selective for
Cookies if you want to keep some for some reason.

Sorry, yes TIF, they are automatically cleared with netcaptor and Mozilla
Firefox. Even double checked.

Ted,
Do you have a server, try to see if these machines are they pulling from the
caching on the server instead of freashly/updated pages.
Another I thought about is to force this machine to look for newly updated
pages by doing this (I'm talking IE now) on the IE page click Tools >>
Internet Options >> General Tab click on Settings and on settings Window be
sure this Radio Button is checked:
Check for newer Versions of Stored Pages:
(*) Automatically. or
(*) Every Time you start Internet Explorer.

HTH.

yes I have 2 servers, but no they are not caching, even checked soho router
and found nothing. Even went as far as upgrading from IE 6 to 7 and still no
luck.

Most likely explanation is that between your server and your browser
there is a cache which is acknowledging the cache-checking being
done for web page components saved in your TIF. You can avoid
that checking by doing a Ctrl-F5 Refresh.
