website error

I maintain a community website, inherited from some one. I modify contents,
but not an expert. Last time I modified my site, I am getting main website
pages ok. There is a sub site, which does not display. When I click on sports
page link, I get this error page. I have tried so many times to repair, but
to no avail. The File listed in "files in conflict" on remote site. How do I
correct this problem. Please go to www.kholvad.com and click sports and try
to follow the link or go to www.kholvad.com/cricket and you will see what you
get. Please help.

You do not appear to have an acceptable default page (named index.html) in
the cricket folder.

Exactly what it says. there is no index page in the sub-folder "cricket" off the
main domain kholvad.com

You need to put a file in /cricket called "index.htm" or a file perhaps named
"cricket.htm" then redo the like to reflect
