I just upgraded to Vista and found that my bank's website, which uses a
sitekey protocol, crashes Internet Explorer. Any idea what is going on here?

What version of vista are you running?
I know that 64 bit vista with ie7 has an issue with flash sites. There are
some sites I hit on my 64 bit machine that just end up closing IE7. for
example, accuweather.com if I try to get any kind of local forcast info.

It has to do with there not being flash player support for 64 bit. That
might be your issue.

Hi, tnystel.

Please define "crashes Internet Explorer".

What actually happens when you try to sign in there? My bank (Wells Fargo)
refused to recognize IE7 beta, but is OK now with the final version. During
the IE7 beta period, I had to trick the Wells Fargo site into thinking I was
using IE6. If that is your problem, please post back and I (or we) will
tell you how to do this.

The page loads normally, but when I hit the logon button or try to pull up
the contact page, I get a window that says that there is a problem and that
Windows will try to find a solution. After a short while, I get a message in
the little window that tells me that IE encountered a problem and has to
close. The browser page then closes.

I just installed this system (Vista Home Premium) last night. I have been
using IE 7 in XP Media Center edition, and the website worked just fine. I
finagled the security settings in IE7 when this started happening, but
nothing helped. I checked with my bank's site from work and found that they
don't list Vista as a compatible operating system, so it may not be my
computer's fault.

I communicated with my bank and was told that they couldn't find any problems
(of course!). My computer decided to communicate with their site a couple of
days ago, and it has now gone back to "crashing" my browser.
