WebSearch has taken over my search option..

I set google to be my search engine when ever I click on the Search button
but some how "Web Search" has taken it's place. I've tried to reinsall the
google registry fix but it only works while IE is open, after closing and
reopening it I click on the Search button and Google is no longer there only
this damn Web search... any clues??

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

Ran spyware, botchecks and nortons trojan checks and all is clean.. has to
be something else??

Did you update Ad-Aware and scanned the unit? Also, post the Hijackthis log
as said by PABear.

Seek updates for Ad-Aware/Spybot *and* Norton [whatever] before each and
every use, please.

Run HijackThis and post your files to the recommended forum for the experts
