on my machine.
Trojan Horse Trojan-downloader-conhook is the way it list it.

I quarantined it in my webroot spysweeper program
and am now running spysweeper again, this after running stinger .
Reason I am doing all this again after the initial find and quarantine was
that I
went to cut on my laptop just a while ago
(this trojan was found on this laptop) and
under my identity name
it showed 1 unread message ( normal there) but also said
one program was
running ,
I am afraid the trojan may be the program running for I never had never
noticed it saying "program
running" before when I had not even logged on to the net yet.

Is this trojan a virus or what and , what
else do I need to do to assure it is totally gone off my puter?
Please folks , try and help me in
laymens terms as much as possible for I am
not well versed in computer tech. stuff.

Thanks much !

Has anyone found a tool to remove this trojan? I also have virtumonde
with this trojan and I can't rid of it...

I've tried to delete the malware using Killbox but it doesn't work.
Will posting the Hijack log help?

Yes.
