iv just upgraded my comp to windows vista,but while trying to set up my
webcam,all i get is that i need windows xp to set it up,any1 no how i can get
rnd this??or do i need to go out and upgrade my webcam????

Which brand and model web cam is this? Have you checked the manufacturers
website for updated drivers that might support Windows Vista?

It is possible that you will have to get a new webcam. My old Intel webcam
would not work with Vista. It's the only piece of hardware I had to
replace. I bought a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000, which works well.
